Almost every Sunday we have dinner at my parent's house. This past Sunday, we were getting ready to leave and went to say goodbye to my mom and dad (grammy and poppa). They had turned on the t.v. and were snuggling under a blanket, because they planned to start a movie. Addison keeps pushing on me that she wants down.
I let Addison down to say goodnight. . . . next thing you know she is under the blanket with grammy and poppa! She looks at Steve and I and says, "BYE!" We were all laughing, and I kept asking her, "don't you want to go home with mommy and daddy?" Addison: "No" She said "Bye" a couple of more times and we had to have grammy and poppa escort us to the car! I thought they were supposed to like mommy and daddy longer. . . .. :)

18 month pics
Aunt Jen took pics of Addison for her 18 month pics. We took them in October, but life has been so crazy busy that it has taken me a long time to post them! There were so many amazing ones to choose from, so here is a sampling of some of my favorites!
Cute. . . even from behind!
Totally looks posed, but Addison did that on her own!
I want this one!
I think even her walk shows how much fun she was having!
Did any tell her the wagons are for the pumpkins?
Kissing her doggy! :)

Aunt Jen and I had our hands full trying to get pics of this mobile lady! This time was a lot harder than at all her other pics. . . even at 12 months she was walking, but she wasn't running full speed AWAY from the camera! I think even though Addison was a mischief maker (running away from the camera, carrying a pebble all during the pumpkin patch, holding an acorn on the stairs, and having to eat fruit snacks to keep her happy), Aunt Jen did a great job taking pics of our Addison. She is such a special girl and we feel so blessed to have her in our lives!

Happy Halloween!
We have had a wonderful and very full Halloween this year! We went to Storybook Forrest last Monday (pictures not posted, so I will have to add them later) for FHE. We carved pumpkins with Bryn, Makenna, and my mom/dad. We carved 2 pumpkins at home and we went on Halloween to Pop's for lunch, then to the pumpkin patch by Arcadia Lake, and then took Addison out for her first trick-or-treat experience. Whew! We've been busy!
Addison didn't want to sit for a picture. . . there was too much to see!

Last time Addison was at a petting zoo, she didn't want to touch the animals. This time; however, she decided to pet them AND she even fed a goat at the very end of our trip.
This petting zoo had several little goats, a llama (Steve called it the vacuum because of how it ate food out of your hand), a couple of sheep, and one cow. Steve kept trying to feed the cow, but the cow's tongue kept knocking it off his hand. I had to teach Steve to cup the food right up to the cow's mouth. Don't feel too bad for the cow. . . it would push all the animals out of his way so he could get extra treats!
Cowgirl Addison!
There were lots of haystacks for the kids to play on. Steve and I took this picture right after a couple of mom's told their kids they couldn't play there because there were probably snakes around. . . we didn't find any though. :)
Climb up Addison!
Just kidding, Steve handed her to me!
Addison loved climbing up the haystack to get to the slide! She is a sucker for a slide!
This is a very small part of a really beautiful/very large fallen tree. I wanted to get a picture of it by itself, but too many people were around taking pics on it. I guess you will have to go see it for yourself!
Here is when Addison decided she wanted to try to feed the animals. I was very nervous about it. Steve kept saying it would be fine, but I was worried she would clench the food and an animal would bite her. It turned out fine though.
Addison tried to feed the cow, but ended up feeding the goats. They were the right height for her.
We ended our night by trick-or-treating in our neighborhood. Addison was dressed as a jack-o-lantern!
Addison at her first door (our next door neighbors). It was funny, because they forgot it was Halloween (their lights were on, so don't blame me!), but they did have some dum dums on hand so it turned out okay.
Neck-ercise!
I don't know why she does it, but Addison loves to put things under her chin. She will play it there and then look at you with this big "ta-dah" grin! You gotta love her.
Addison is still smiling, even though she has her first big bruise (you can probably see it on her cheek). Addison tripped over her own feet and then hit the door. The funny part is that she didn't hit the front or back side of the door, she hit the skinny part of the door!?! How can you protect your children from falling over their own feet and falling into the door? I don't know either.
