She has changed- just transformed- in the last week and a half. My little baby girl is trying so many new things and doing so many new things; I can barely keep up! I'm just going to list some of her newest things:
1. Tongue clicking- she loves to click her tongue. The other night, Steve and I knew she wasn't sleeping because we could hear her clicking away in her crib!
2. Pulling up! I haven't seen her pull herself all the way up myself, but Steve has seen her twice pull herself completely up!
3. Bouncing- Whether you're holding her, she's sitting on you, or even on the floor- she is bouncing and smiling away about it!
4. Clapping her hands- okay, she has been clapping her hands for a long time, but she she now can start clapping in response to you clapping. It's pretty cool!
5. Eating. . . dog food. Yes, twice today Addison got over to Gigi's dog food and got a piece of kibble into her little mouth. . .what can I say? Luckily, I was able to get it out of her mouth before she chewed on it, but she wasn't very happy with me taking it away.
6. Temper tantrums- Just yesterday, I saw my baby acting like maybe she was having a tantrum. This morning, after taking a piece of magazine away from her that she felt was food- she had a HUGE tantrum! For five minutes, she threw herself on the floor and cried and screamed. . .it was not fun. I was hoping we had a little more time before we had to start dealing with that kind of behavior!
7. Crawling- on her hands and knees! I really thought that she was going to be like her counsin Brynlee. I figured she would keep dragging her belly until she started walking, but she just woke up one day and started crawling on her hands and knees. Now, she is EVERYWHERE!
Other than that, Addison is busy growing her two front teeth (front, bottom) and loves to jabber all the time. She says "mama" and "dada" and makes the "ga" sound a lot. She waves at everyone and LOVES to give hugs! She feels very grown up when I let her play on the couch or on our bed, but she really doesn't like getting her diaper changed very much. She loves trying all different kinds of foods and likes going on our family walks around our neighborhood. Our little lady sure is special and we thank the Lord every day for having her in our lives!
Oh my goodness, she's going to be a year old this month! It's so crazy how fast they grow up right before your eyes! She's such a doll I hope you're having fun!
