Addison went in on Thursday for her 6 month checkup. She now weighs 13.6 lbs (6%), is 25 inches tall (22%), and her head circumference is 16 1/2 inches (32%). So, she's a petite baby! The doctor says she is 100% healthy, and he is not worried at all about her weight. She has some rolls on her, and he said that she has been growing and gaining weight steadily, so he doesn't have any concerns. Dr. Simmons does appreciate that I always come into his office with a long list of questions for him! :)
Addison wasn't happy to get 4 shots. Poor Addison! She got the three that were scheduled, but we also added the flu shot since she goes to daycare and this year has been very bad with the flu going around. Steve and I are just so happy to have such a healthy girl. Knock on wood, she hasn't gotten sick yet. We have been very blessed.
Breast milk does a baby good.
