First Feast!

I'm ready for my rice cereal!

Daddy did a good job feeding me.

It was a little messy. Addison likes to grab the spoon and put it into her own mouth.

Addison had her first "feast" on Thanksgiving. We had been talking for awhile about when we wanted to start giving Addison food, so we decided that Thanksgiving would be a great day to try it out. We gave Addison some rice cereal mixed with breastmilk.

She did really good. She didn't eat very much (I think part of that is because she was getting really tired), but she didn't struggle with it nor was it much of a struggle to get her to eat the cereal. She did like grabbing the spoon from me and putting into her mouth herself!
